Today is Diva's last day of school and she's off for summer break, which means I'm taking a break too. I can't tell you what the fall will bring, so stay tuned.

We had our first real snowfall of the year last night/today, which is quite late in the season for Ohio. (I didn't mind in the least). So, for the first day back from break and snow...

We had a little infestation of these critters in our house yesterday-- they got in through the fireplace. Hopefully we took care of the problem now by burning a little fire.

mini pita face, with edible marker for freckles, nose, and smile, whole wheat mini pita body, arms and legs, sprinkle cheeks and in ears, marshmallow eyes with edible marker pupils, wheat thin stick branch with cut up fruit snack leaves, pretzel tail (served with a yogurt tube to round out the carbs!)
